RUNE CASTING FACTS
1) What are Runes?
Runes are ancient symbols which were used extensively in the ancient world. There continues to be considerable debate as to the origins of the Runes, however one thing that most scholars, academics and Rune Master's & Mistresses agree on is, that they are over 2000 years old.
Traditionally amongst the Ancient Celts of Europe & those of the British Isles, Teutons & Vikings; Rune Masters and Mistresses were called upon to cast for their communities, with regards to health and prosperity, and the growth of the community. Many issues and arguments were decided and prevented through the skillful use of The Runes to divine the timeliness and / or the right's wrongs, pro's or con's of a situation. Only the wealthiest of communities had a resident Rune Master or Mistress. Less well off communities had to wait for the annual/bi-annual visit of a passing "journeyman" practitioner of The Runes, who in those days just as much as today would have been male or female.
In the Celtic world Runes were used to plot the life course of a person. These readings were usually undertaken within 12 months of a child being born, ideally the cast would be undertaken just after the birth, or within 7 days of the birth, however not all ancient communities were wealthy enough to be able to engage their own resident Rune Master or Mistress, and may have to wait for the passing "journeyman". This cast would look at the strength and weaknesses of a child, and what type of work the child would be best suited too. The prosperity and success of each community depended on people working together to make the most, and get the best from each other.
2) How can a Rune Cast Help Me?
A Rune Cast in a modern context can tell you just as much about yourself, your life, the prevailing conditions in your life, as would have been the case had you lived in the days of our ancestors.
A Rune Cast can show you where obstacles and delays may arise, and how best to overcome difficulty and delay in your life. Like the ancients, a "Life Map" will look at your strengths and weaknesses, and often will uncover hidden talents, or issues which you need to be aware of, to prevent difficulty in many if not all areas of your life.
Runes can be cast to look at:
Your life and life development in general.
Your career, financial and business development issues.
Your love life, & inter-family relationships.
Risk assessment of any situation or area of life, business, relationships,
health.
Life Maps highlight how issues of inheritance/
conditioning, are either helping or hindering your life progress..
In this area a Life-Map will profile your personality, and give
a balanced assessment of how nurture might be undermining your nature,
causing disease or distress, and much more.
3) How often should I have a Runes Cast?
I recommend that a Life-Map / Progressed Life-Map should be undertake once a year, ideally on or as near to your birthday as possible. A Life-Map is ideally undertaken in the "Detailed Cast" format.
Rune Casts which look at your life in general can be undertaken
a maximum of three times a year
Readings which are focused to a specific question, can be undertaken
as and when situations arise,
which you
believe you cannot solve using logic and your natural cognitive
abilities.
I would dissuade any one from having a Rune Cast performed more than four times a year, the essence of the Runes requires the individual to live and learn, and a person can't do that if they become dependent on their Casts or their Rune Master or Mistress.
4) What readings do you do at Runecraft UK?
At RuneCraft we follow in the tradition and footsteps of my Celtic forefathers. The nature of my readings follows the old rules which requires the runes to be used for Self-Empowerment, Self-improvement & Self Healing, with some interest being paid to "the future trends".
At RuneCraft I perform 2 main style of readings as follows, which can be applied to business and career/financial issues as well as personal evolution, health issues and social /romantic situation.
Standard Overview - (6-Postion Cast) This cast in Real Space takes between 30 & 40 minutes to complete. The Cast looks a your background and underlying trends for the period covered by your cast. Standard readings tend to cover periods of time ranging from 3 - 9 months. Again any difficulties in your path are highlight and are offered with contingencies to understand and overcome, and offers insights into any positive opportunities which maybe coming up for you.
Detailed Over-view - (10-Position Cast) This cast in Real Space can take between 60 & 90 minutes to complete, and takes a detailed look at what is going on in your life on all levels. Again any difficulties in your path are highlight and are offered with contingencies to understand and overcome the difficulties you maybe facing, and offers insights into any positive opportunities which maybe coming up for you. In terms of the time period covered by a detailed Rune Cast, varies considerably, as this cast is also used to deal with life patterns.
